
SAN FRANCISCO - The visitors airports across the United States (U.S.) can now enjoy Wi-Fi access for free. This facility is a gift from Internet giant Google for travelers during the holiday season this year.
Google works with several companies to service providers U.S. Wi-Fi, including Boingo Wireless, Advanced Wireless Group and the Airport Marketing Income in hot sppot providing Internet access to 15 January.
"We are very pleased to be providing a holiday gift in the form of Wi-Fi access to millions of people who will spend time at the airport in the coming months," said Vice President of Search Products Marissa Mayer Google, was quoted as saying by the AFP (11/11/2009) .
"We know, this is the holiday season is very busy for every traveler. We hope that access to free Wi-Fi will make the journey and connect with relatives and friends familli becomes easier," he added.
There are approximately 47 airports in various regions in the U.S. who have Wi-Fi access for free from Google, including Las Vegas, San Jose in the heart of Silicon Valley and Seattle.
Wi-Fi access is also designed as a form of social awareness campaign. The travelers who do log in to a free wireless network will be invited to donate one of the charities
